A Premier Destination
The Clearwater Downtown Partnership is a non-profit group comprised of concerned citizens, businesses and civic organizations who encourage and advance the strategic economic development of gracious living spaces, inviting office and retail space and extraordinary entertainment options that ultimately promote Downtown Clearwater as the premier destination to live, work and play.
The Code Review Committee is “re-visioning” Downtown planning code that affects signage, parking, building- and land-use allowing for this unique Clearwater community to be designated as a Cultural District overlay. These initiatives pave the way for implementation recommendation to City Council and Staff.
The Communications Committee is enhancing the brand awareness of the CDP vision and mission through consistent messaging, cross-promotion of economic development initiatives that benefit downtown Clearwater, and development of seminars and workshops that inform and stimulate Downtown Clearwater stakeholders. The Communications Committee is tasked with annual organization of the CDP Momentum Awards that acknowledge businesses, organizations, individuals, and projects that have made significant contributions toward the improvement of downtown with lasting, positive impacts on the community.
Economic Development Committee
The Economic Development Committee has overall strategic recruitment responsibility for all business recruitment by the Clearwater Downtown Partnership (CDP) including specific initiatives related to high-tech business relocation and retail recruitment.
The Membership Committee oversees membership recruitment and retention for the Clearwater Downtown Partnership. Membership contributions sustain the CDP; allowing us to fulfill our strategic mission as a prominent Downtown Clearwater advocate. Join the CDP in action today!
